Thank you for reminding me of these amazing films.I have seen the last four and loved them.Andersson is so inventive and refreshing. There are scenes that are still etched into my mind, and example being the phalanx of office workers marching in step down the road whilst flogging themselves – went straight to my gut.

Yes, it was in Songs. I did an AI check to be sure. I also find that these films merge in my memory, perhaps because Andersson gives so much weight to the tableaux that the plots take on a lesser importance?
