Tom Cruise, the consummate entertainer, once again shows us why heโs Hollywood’s last action hero in this penultimate M:I outing that is somewhat bogged down by plotting that is way too reliant on its airy-fairy MacGuffin.
The movie that launched the popular action franchise is rather uninspired despite having De Palma at the helmโaction is few and far between and the conversational scenes feel lacklustre.
A tad cliche in its storytelling, but it remains a respectable action film by a promising director.
